From now until September 28, we are running a quest to design a new theme for Everything2, based on the zen theme. We're encouraging noders to come up with fresh, creative designs to modernize the look and feel of the site. The winning designer or team will win $250, and the runner up will receive $150. Finally, all entrants will receive 100 XP. Winners will be chosen by a week-long poll of noders which will begin immediately after the deadline for entries on September 28. The winning theme may become the default theme for the website and new users, but winning the contest won't guarantee use of your theme as the default: that decision is up to a panel of super secret judges.
